Final Fantasy VII Remake, sometimes abbreviated as FF7 or FFVII with the word Remake, is a video game developed by Square Enix Business Division 1 and published by Square Enix. It is the first part of the remake trilogy of the Final Fantasy VII game released on PlayStation and PC in 19974. After presenting a technical demo of the game to promote the power of the PlayStation 3 at E3 20055, Square Enix repeatedly denied any plans for a remake, but finally announced one at the Electronic Entertainment Expo 2015 on 15 June 2015, during Sony's conference. This first game was released on April 10, 2020 on PlayStation 4. An improved port titled Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade was released in 2021 on PlayStation 5 and PC in December 2021.
